Curriculum
The Muntham House POST-16 curriculum has been carefully designed to provide all pupils with a broad, balanced challenging curriculum including a wide range of both academic and vocational subject areas. The options available include functional skills, GCSE’s and BTEC courses in a wide range of areas.
Intent:
The aim of Muntham House POST-16 is to provide a broad and varied curriculum to ensure that our pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs attain the skills and experience they need to leave school and become contributors to their communities and lead a fulfilled life. Pupils can select a range of different courses so that they leave school with a range of qualifications which will enable them to access employment or the next stage of their learning.

Through these programs and initiatives, our aim is to provide our pupils with the skills and experiences they need to become contributors within their communities and live a full and happy life. The impact of this curriculum on our POST-16 pupils is significant and can be life-changing. Engaging in the curriculum will develop confidence and independence and raise the self-esteem of our pupils. The curriculum aims to ensure that POST-16 pupils are fully prepared for adulthood.
